YIN YOGA

Slowly and deeply we allow gravity to open us up while quietly listening inward to our bodies… with gentle cueing and plenty of space to welcome the sweetness of silence. A sequence of long-held, passive floor poses in which we practice being with ourselves exactly as we are. Yin Yoga focuses on releasing the connective tissue in the body creating suppleness at the core and developing a deeper, inner awareness.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Restorative yoga uses long-held, supported resting poses to create the conditions for us to cultivate the skill for conscious relaxation, and most importantly to release unnecessary tension in the body and mind. A practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. In this practice, the body is completely supported with props like blocks, blankets, and pillows, thus creating a muscular experience in the body while also nurturing and soothing your nervous system.

This practice can help relieve injuries and chronic pain and reduce stress.

A beautiful moving meditation synchronizing the body mind and breath into a seamless expression of yoga, finishing off with a delicious deep relaxation. This class will help you to unwind, build confidence, flexibility and concentration in the basic yoga postures. Breath work, meditation and deep relaxation are included. Beginners to advanced can benefit from this class and are welcome to attend.
