SUNRISE FLOW - Early Morning
Classes
for the before work crowd. If you are a busy yogi and still desire to reap
the benefits of a full yoga session, Sunrise Vinyasa is just for you. In this class, we use a beautiful well-paced sequence
to cover the most common asanas of yoga. Discover the beauty of our Sunrise flow that is known for its conciousness, abundance,
intensity and bliss!
SLOW FLOW & HONEY FLOW RESTORATIVE YOGA
A delicious and restorative yoga practice. True relaxation
is often more elusive than we expect. Even sleep doesn't provide it. Sometimes approached through smooth Vinyasa and other
times more deeply supported with props like blocks and blankets. This class has a particular ability to create a muscular
experience in your body while nurturing and soothing. It will renew your energy and bring conscious, deep relaxation.
HAPPY
HIP OPENINGS
Tight hips...who doesn't? This class will help you run,
cycle and walk with ease! A flowing, playful exploration of the hip joint. Strong and open hips form a critical foundation
in every yoga practice, enabling access to more advanced postures while protecting the lower back and knees. This class combines
a beautiful flowing sequence and a series of deep seated postures focusing on all movements of the hip, suitable for all levels.
BEGINNERS YOGA FUN-DAMENTALS
This is the place to start! A fun and friendly class designed to demystify yoga and
gently present the basics of asana (yoga postures) pranayama (breathing technique) and meditation/relaxation.
Moving at a slower pace and taking time to push pause along the way you will establish the basics for your practice.
No experience or flexibility required, this class is for anyone who is
new to yoga, been away from their mat or a non-beginner looking for a softer approach.
VINIYOGA
for WELLNESS
Integration of movement with breathing
at a foundational level, practices include the tools of asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), relaxation and
meditation. Participants will promote alignment, develop core strength, increase range of motion, explore and refine movement
patterns, expand breath capacity, deepen concentration, and enhance listening skills. This class is appropriate for anyone
who would like to increase flexibility, enhance stability and experience mental tranquility.
THERAPEUTIC
VINIYOGA
“If you can breathe, you can do yoga.” This ongoing class is
appropriate for students new to yoga, those desiring a gentle class, those dealing with chronic structural issues, pain, or
illness. Utilizing the principles of Viniyoga, the student can expect to learn postures, breathing techniques, meditation,
and relaxation techniques in a supportive and appropriately paced class environment. A great class for beginning students!
WALL VINYASA
The
wall used as a prop aids students in alignment, going deeper in poses and holding
poses longer. Students can progress in their own practice in a safe manner while opening the energy flow of the body to aid
healing. The following will be explored; standing poses, hip openers, shoulder work, inversions, & back bends.
VINIYOGA+VINYASA
Guided by the
vital currents of Viniyoga, this class will focus on appropriate application of the practitioner's needs and interests while exploring breath and body
awareness. An eclectic combination of postures linked together to create a light, fun practice to deepen self-awareness
and relaxation.
PRIVATE YOGA INSTRUCTION (by appointment only)
A private yoga session is a wonderful
way for new students to get introduced to yoga in a gentle and nurturing space, or a great way for seasoned students to deepen
their journey. Private sessions can be tailored to meet the needs or desires of the individual, whether shadow assisting in
posture with hands on adjustments or simply adding in touches of Thai and breath work to allow clients to work deeper within
creating a beautifully well rounded sense of well-being. Also available for private prenatal yoga instruction.
