First 2 rows are photos of our trip to New Orleans
where we offered our services to the women and Children of NOLA in the Superdome Superlove 10 year anniversary of V-DAY, a
global campaign to end violence against women and children. All other photos are from our V-Day awareness
campaign and fundraiser on March 28th, 2008. We had a fantastic night and were able to raise over $3000.00. We donated 100%
of our proceeds to V-Day and Katrina Warriors. The night was filled with a warm and compassionate crowd, incredible volunteers,
fabulous raw vegan food, and a generous array of donations for the auction. I know together we will shift
what has to be shifted in human consciousness in order to end this violence. I know collectively we will find the way and
together we can make a difference!
We rang in the new year
in Costa Rica. These photos are a sampling of our Yoga Retreat "Riding the Wave of Abundance 2008" held in beautiful
Montezuma, Costa Rica. Our mornings began with yoga on a platform overlooking the Pacific ocean, followed by a fabulous breakfast
at Organico. Excursions and surfing were mixed into each day, and in the evenings we slowed down with some therapeutic and
restorative yoga. There was horsback riding, waterfall hikes, surfing, jungle treks, and lots of beach time. Our group was
comprised of 17 wonderful people (including two - 2 year olds and two 72 year olds). Great group, great times, and memories
to last a lifetime. Ahhh pura vida!
