JOURNEY into the BLISS WAVE
YOGA RETREAT
Santa Teresa, Costa Rica
Saturday, June 18 - June 25th, 2011
"Enjoy waves of movement arising from
your body and within nature as the very essence of the universe ~ then with peace of mind, become one with this divinity."
~ Vijnana Bhairava Tantra
Relax and take a deep breath in as you fall into a sweet surrender while surrounded by sun, sea, sand, surf,
exotic birds, howler monkeys, and the most amazing sunsets.
Join us for a week of healthy living in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica! The natural beauty of Costa Rica inspires peace
and a fresh perspective in a fast-paced world. Clean mountain and forest air, sharing the surroundings with plenty of wildlife
and a gentle pace all come together here to offer the opportunity to really experience your yoga practice and true nature.
You know that feeling you have after a yoga class, where your mind clutter has been temporarily cleared? Multiply that tenfold
and you will get a taste of what we intend to offer you. This retreat is an amazing opportunity to explore two traditions
that compliment and enhance one another. Daily yoga classes focus on balance and strength while counterbalancing key areas
and cultivating the mindfulness & embodiment needed to successfully and safely negotiate the waves of life. Yoga and surf
share a deep respect for Mother Nature and together offer the confidence and grace to fluidly ride life’s big waves.
Daily classes will be a combination of active Prana Vinyasa Flows in the morning and Restorative/Yin classes in the evenings..
This
is truly a vacation with yoga included. While yoga is a personal practice that draws us inward to explore our inner self,
the world in all of its richness can be the perfect teacher for a deeper understanding of ourselves. Hiking through the rainforests
will ground us in the abundance of life that is within us and all around us. Practicing near the ocean’s tides will
remind us of the ebbs and flows that we must ride out in life. Viewing trees that have graced this earth for thousands of
years will inspire sturdiness in our own limbs. Enjoying the greatness that this world has to offer will bring us space to
let go, and welcome in new experiences to our lives.
